Tip of the Week
Chipping From Bare Lies
The common fault made here is that golfers select a club with too much loft and try to scoop the ball off the bare lie. The best way to play this shot is to select a club with less loft (e.g. PW, 9 iron) and play the ball far back in your stance. Keep your hands ahead of the club head and hit down on the ball. Remember to allow for the ball to fly a little lower than normal and run a bit more.
