From the Team
• Junior Coaching is every Tuesday 15:30 – 16:30 on the driving range. If you would like your kids to come please book your place by calling Justin on 042 2004500/ 084 556 4346. • Please note that the driving range is closed on Mondays. Go Illegal! We now only have 4 “illegal grooved” wedges left in stock. Remember that NO manufacturers are allowed to produce these any more because “they spin too much!!”. However, they will only be outlawed for amateur use in 2024!! So come and grab one of the only few left in the country still available for purchase or contact me by clicking here so that I can keep one aside for you. |

Tip of the Week
This is my favourite putting drill - it is really simple and I know that I have put it in the newsletter before, but I haven’t seen enough members trying it on the putting green, so here goes again… It is a great drill for those of you who find yourselves missing a lot of short putts and for those who have a lack in confidence in the putter…
| Start by finding the flattest, straightest putt on the putting green… this might take you a while on ours!! Once you have done this, take your 2 longest irons and lay them parallel to each other in line with the hole with enough space in between to move your putter back and forth. The shafts will help you keep the putter on line (in between the tracks) and setup correctly each time. Now set a ball about 2 feet away between the shafts and see how many you can hole in a row. 50 is a good number! (Seeing the ball drop 50 times in a row does wonders for your confidence as well as your stroke.) Trust me, this really does work!! Regards, Ryan |
