| Tee it lower into the wind The new deep faced drivers are designed to launch the ball high for increased distance - this is great when you are downwind or when the wind is not blowing but is certainly not a solution when it’s in your face. A great way to hit the ball low is to tee it a little lower than usual and position the ball a little bit further back in your stance. Now you are hitting the ball closer to the bottom of the driver face which will produce a straighter, lower ball flight with less spin which is hardly affected by the wind! So throw away those long tees into the wind and grab a few short ones for those into the wind holes! |
