"double-"or sometimes "triple-" breaking putts
• Junior Coaching is every Tuesday 15:30 – 16:30 on the driving range. If you would like your kids to come please book your place by calling Justin on 042 2004500/ 084 556 4346.
• Please note that the driving range is closed on Mondays.
Our greens tend to be rather undulating and many times during the round we are faced with "double-"or sometimes "triple-" breaking putts. Here is a great way to read these putts:
Try to break the putt up into sections by walking the length of the putt and stopping at key points, reading it in the sections rather than as a whole. Once you have got a pretty good idea of how the putt will break, then look at it as a whole and try to determine where you would like the ball to start when entering the last section of the putt. This will help with your distance control as well as the overall direction of the putt.
