Tip of the Week
Grip size is probably the most important part of having the right grip. If your grip is too small you will tend to hold the club tighter in your hands, this will cause your hands to become more active in the swing resulting in a CLOSED clubface at impact and causing a shot that flies LEFT. If your grip is too big you will unconsciously hold the club softer in your hands, this will cause your hands to be less active during the swing resulting in an OPEN clubface and a shot that flies RIGHT of target.
Here are 2 ways to check that your grips are correct:

• Check your existing grips. Wrap your top hand around the grip as if you were preparing to make a swing. The grip size is correct if your middle and ring fingers are lightly touching the pad of your palm near your thumb. If there is space between your fingers and palm then the grip size is too large. If your fingers are digging into your palm then the grip size is too small.
• If you know your glove size simply check on our chart to the right..

Ryan
