Narrow your stance for better contact on your chip shots.

I still see many people take a wide stance when chipping, widening your stance promotes weight transfer (something we don’t want too much of when chipping) and therefore makes playing the shot far harder than it needs to be.

When setting up next time you are faced with a chip shot, place the majority of your weight on your left side, play the ball slightly back of centre and narrow that stance. You will find your contact becomes crisper and cleaner than ever before.
