Brad Castle (St Francis Links Head Chef)
Our Head Chef, Brad Castle, hails from Durban and joined us in November 2008. He is known for his curries which are available every Wednesday evening, as well as his exceptional fare at weddings. Brad started as a restaurant manager, but it was the love and passion for food and the production thereof which ultimately called him to the kitchen where he now also specializes in Asian, Italian, Indian and European cuisine. He believes in making “good food good” which is also why his specials on Monday evenings (with a two course dinner for over 65's at R60!) is proving so popular!
“I like to cook what people want, and I am always flexible and design menus for special occasions according to what people are looking for. What I love most about my job is cooking for a group of people who all go completely quiet as they start to eat, it really is the most awesome feeling when everyone in the restaurant enjoys their meal” He presents a contemporary menu including new exciting dishes!
St Francis Links is open for breakfast and lunch everyday. Dinners are served on Monday's and Wednesday's throughout the year and certain evenings for a la carte dinners.
