Kikuyu eradication is on top of our list

We had some great unexpected rain on Friday last week and as I was sitting in my office still, a whopping 18mm dropped. I am sure that this bit of rain brought some sort of relief to gardens and lawns. After a very successful Moneyweb conference, we are right back in the saddle to tackle all the alien vegetation on and around the golf course. Kikuyu eradication is on top of our list and you might have noticed the dead patches around all the tee complexes. We now have a team going around replacing eradicated areas on the tee tops and a team that has started the spraying process on the green complexes. This will be a permanent project to ensure that we stay on top of the kikuyu spreading. General housekeeping and manicuring will still carry on ensuring that next time you step out on the course, you will find it in pristine condition. Thank you to all the estate maintenance staff that lent a helping hand over the past weekend as well to make sure that the Moneyweb conference was a great success. Not only do these guys do a good job in ensuring that the course is maintained, the electricity is working around the estate, the water is being pumped to the right destinations, the roads and verges are maintained and security is on top of their game, but they also serve people in the restaurant and escort guests to the homes. Needless to say that for a small team here at the Links, we do cover all the aspects to make sure that it is a world class experience second to none. Please feel free to contact me at any time should you have any questions or concerns. All the best, Andre Gerber 0824514158 This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
