Back from Holiday in Mozambique
| It is always great to come back after some holiday time and find that things are still intact and that the team has been doing a great job. Thank you to all my guys for looking after the estate and golf course in my absence and, apart from some small issues and all the rain we’ve had, I think it all still looks pretty good. Mozambique was great and about 6000km later I am happy to be back. It was a great experience for me and a lovely country to go and visit. The roads were not great all the time, but most of it was a lovely highway all the way up to Vilanculos. Xai-Xai was a lovely place to visit and I must encourage anybody who wants to make the trip, to visit the coastline. It has long, white beaches filled with palm trees and clear, warm water to relax in. The snorkelling and scuba reefs in this area is just amazing and what better way to end off a day (or start the day) with some good beer, crayfish and prawns. |

But as they say… Life goes on and now the memories and photographs are there to remind me of the great time my family and I had.
We are busy preparing for the upcoming member/guest tournament this coming weekend and after 90mm of rain the past couple of days, it is purely mowing and manicuring that is taking place. The course is in good condition and I am sure that you will enjoy your trip to the Links.
