Greens have recovered nicely
The greens have recovered nicely after the hollowtining and we are currently mowing them at the same cutting height as before the annual spring treatment. It has been a welcome relieve to have the staff back on site for the past week as we were able to concentrate on the finer, attention to detail aspects of the course again.
We have tackled the 1st fairway again with a different seed and topsoil mix to see if we can get this area into top shape again. The guys have been through the bunkers, adding sand and removing some weeds that have jumped up during the strike period.
On the estate we are currently installing some new infrared cameras that will enable us to monitor the entire security fence and also the main road coming into St. Francis Bay. This is a welcome upgrade to the security system as we can now monitor and play back any incidences that may occur in the future.
