What a season it has been! The club house was packed and the golf course held up great. For us on the course it is back to normal working hours and also back to tackling some projects.

My team performed very well, if you consider an early morning start and then still whole night patrolling of the security fence. The weather has been kind to us thus far with no really hot days that dry the course out too much. Our preventative pesticide programs have ensured that no grubs were found on the course that ensured that the bush pigs did not come and plough the fairways and tees again.

Good timing of fertiliser applications ensured that the course stayed healthy and the playability of the fairways was of the highest standard. This is our continued promise to you, our members – a great world class golfing experience. We are continually looking at the golf course to improve playability, but sometimes you do hit that off-line shot and end up in a bush or a bunker that makes you think “what the hell is the course manager thinking”. Now that a whole bunch of you have been around the course, please let me know if you have any thoughts and/or ideas as to how we can make this course even more special and softer.
