What is happening on your golf course these days..? You will notice a bunch of things happening in your next round at the Links.

Our kikuyu eradication program is still in full swing and we are now in the process of stripping out the killed of areas at number 10 and 12. These areas will be sodded out and some of it will be seeded as well. Our 3rd fairway is being inter-seeded due to drought and grub damage we have had during the previous summer months.

Our new bunker at hole 12 is complete and fits in nicely with the other bunkers and the fall of the land.

New Bunker on the right fits the lie of the land perfectly!

We have opened up a little more on the right, as well.

This year white grubs have been very active on our tees and green surrounds and fairways. Sometimes it is difficult to determine weather it is heat stress or the damage caused by these pests. We will be spraying the whole course again to eliminate these grubs to prevent any further damage.

Generally the course is in good condition and we will continue to strive to make your golfing experience even better.

All the best,
Andre Gerber
