Heavy rains...

It has been a week of cleaning up all around the golf course after the heavy rains we’ve had over the past couple of weeks. I have measured just over 330mm over the past 5-6 weeks, but I must say – the course definitely handled it very good without any damage anywhere. The water table is very high at the moment and we are still busy getting some standing water off some fairways and out of some of the bunkers.

My time here at the Links is getting very short with only another week before I head off to Mauritius. Quite a couple of people have asked me where I am going to be working. The estate is called Tamarina Golf, Spa and Beach Club and it is situated on the west coast of the island. It is in a town called Tamarin. Whenever you are on the island, please come look me up and I will definitely look after you when it comes to golfing, travel and accommodation arrangements.
