18 perfect memories!!
Who would have thought that the last couple of weeks will fly by so quickly? My last day of work is on Friday the 24th and then I am flying out to Mauritius on the 29th.
It is very difficult for me to say goodbye especially when I have made so many good friends and have so many good memories of St. Francis Links and the Village. I would like to thank everybody for allowing me to be part of such a special place and I hope that I have made you all proud of your course. I am positive that Charl Blaauw will keep on making this place even more special.
Jeff – Pards – thank you for being my role model the past couple of years. You have been an inspiration to me and the whole team, and I know that you will keep on leading from the front. It has been a great ride and I will always be there for assistance in any regard. I will send my new contact details through as soon as I am set up on that side – so please add me to the newsletter mailing list.
The Links is destined for great things and I am sure that it is just a matter of time before we get a huge tournament. I know that the numerous accolades will continue to stream in and as long as Mother Nature behaves, might just become the best course in South Africa – as we know it is. Thank you to you all at the Links – you have been great friends and colleagues and I will follow all of your future paths with great interest. I have never been part of such a small, but dynamic team as this one and I know that you guys are capable of tackling any challenge.
I have put some of my favourite pictures of the course together as I will always be missing this course. My section is not too big in the newsletter, so could not fit each hole in….as this is what it is – 18 perfect memories!!
