My philosophy for more than 25 years!

“I have always been associated with Clubs that offer some form of private membership – with membership comes privileges and opportunities afforded ONLY to members. I have also always had the philosophy that my role in the Club is "to anticipate your needs (and wants) as a member, by providing personalised service to you, your family and your clients, while protecting your privacy". Coming to the Club represents, in most cases, the time you have “earned” for yourself. It’s your “quality time”!

Every member is different and every member is a member for different reasons – golf, lifestyle, security, space, entertainment and business.

“Celebrating”

I have made it a point to NOT ask my members what they do for a living because in some cases, coming to the Club is about everything BUT business…it is your escape from the business world. Sometimes Club life and membership are about privacy and personal wishes.

On the other hand, in each of my Clubs, I also have members who want me to know what they do and why. In many cases, they are in a position to share their expertise with other members. These members are much more open to the business opportunities that exist through new relationships formed at the Club. Many members are service providers and their services are appreciated by other members. I, however, am not one who plays matchmaker unless someone comes to me seeking advice or assistance. Again, it’s about privacy before business in a Club environment.

That is the beauty of Club life. You can have it all to yourself to fit your needs or enjoy it with others. Use your Club for business or pleasure!

Currie Cup Finals at SF Links

Are you a Shark fan? Are you rooting for PrOOOOOvince? Either way, you must join us here at the Club for golf – Sharks vs Province – and then the Currie Cup Finals at 17h30!!!

We are putting together a golfing event with tee-off times throughout the morning where you can pick you favourite team and play for them! We will play a betterball competition – averaging the scores of the guys and gals representing Province on the one side and the Sharks on the other. Then, dress in your Club colours and fill the bar and the conference center as we watch the Final! Drink specials and snack specials will be on offer!
