Championship Golfers inspire Championship golfers!
South Africa is producing Champions – year after year! Our young guns are out there because someone inspired them. My idols growing up (are still alive – don’t go there) and when I watched them play on TV, I couldn’t wait to get out there and emulate their great swings and awesome talent. As kids, we stood beside our little greens in Jefferson, IOWA and attempted the world’s greatest flop shots. We imitated our favorite golfer’s swings and certainly dreamt of becoming as great as them.

May at St Francis Links IS CHAMPIONSHIP MONTH. No matter who you are or how well you are playing as you read this, this could be your month – your Championship! Join us as we crown our fifth overall Club Champions and Division Winners! Make a plan to be here – if only to enjoy the spirit of the weekend and to challenge YOURSELF! Yes, it’s all about skill (and some luck), commitment and trust – most of all, it’s about “the great game of GOLF”. Club Championships will be played on Saturday and Sunday, 21 and 22 May. Big SIX Challenge (Pezula Qualifying) THIS Friday (and Saturday)
The second qualifying of the Big SIX Challenge takes place this week and Pezula will be hosting the winners. Remember, the entry fee and a chance to qualify for the finals on October 1, 2011 for nearly R50, 000 worth of golf, carts and accommodation, is only R250 (GF, cart and entry) for guests and R30 (entry) for members – see you on Friday and/or Saturday!
