A trip back in time…

Roland Peacock has finally taken some time off after spending the two months making our great estate more secure with upgrades to the fence. He got away to watch his son play under-14 cricket for Nico Malan school. He, then got a real treat from his son, Reese, as he watched the young bowler take 5-wickets in the innings! Ah, nothing like a little “5’er” to put a smile on Dad’s face!
A trip back in time… Last weekend Liezl and I took a quick trip to George for the Christening of our God-daughter, Milana. With some time to spare, my favourite nephew, Ruan and I took in the Car Show – there were hundreds of cars from the early 1900’s to present. I fell in love with a classic 57 Chevy, 2-door wagon! In high school, my good friend, Jim Cadden, had the same car – not in quite the same condition, but the same car! Hey, Jim, bet you wish you had this one! |
